I must admit that I have been a fan of JB since first seeing him in Dr Who and then The Sound of Musicals Programmes which made me aware of his singing voice.

He is no Aled and you have to remember this when you listen to Another Side, his latest CD. It is 13 popular songs sung in his unique style.

Track Listing

1.  All Out Of Love
2.  You're So Vein
3.  She's Always A woman
4.  Time After Time
5.  Weekend In New England
6.  Every Little Things She Does Is Magic
7.  If You Leave Me Now
8.  Your Song
9.  Please Remember Me
10. Heaven
11. Being Alive
12. Feeling Good
13. All By Myself

For me this is  background music that is on when you have things to do but do not want to stop and be distracted by Aled. It contains familiar songs and I have to admit that he does sound very much like Cliff Richards at times and if Cliff isn't to your tastes then don't buy the CD !

John does have a lovely rich voice and I find the CD extremely enjoyable. It will be going with me on my journeys around the country this year, along with my Aled and Libera collection.

Sue

Thanks for that Sue-I must admit I am warming to the man. I have started to watch Torchwood and my grandaughter is a big Dr Who fan!
I think he does have a stong singing voice and yes I too would listen to it as background music for now. But who knows Laughing
I watched him on BBC news yesterday morning-pushing his book, as we all do- seems a nice man inspite of the cheesy smile. Smile
Jennyx
PS could see him as Phantom of the Opera
