Well since I posted the poll I really want to know what everyone feels about Christmas.

I am a Christmas hater and I think it goes back to my childhood and mum deciding that Christmas was for children and that I was too old for that sort of thing. So no more secrets and suprises I picked my own presents.

The magic had gone, I knew what I was getting and that spoilt it.

Now days I hate the hussle of it all, it's too commercial and as I battle my way round the shops I silently scream. People seem to go way over the top. Christmas isn't about the birth of a baby, it's about who can buy the most for their children.

Steve has put some of the magic back for me, I choose one present and he goes off and gets me lots of other bits.

Now how do you feel about Christmas ?

Christmas is a time for the kids I suppose, but agree that the meaning of Christmas has been lost somewhat, and that everything is to commercialised and costs a small fortune these days.. Personally speaking, I guess nowdays I look back on Christmases gone past, and remember all of those who are sadly no longer with us.. It will be a quiet one this year, I will be bringing my auntie Mary around here for the day, and will be deafened again when she has the TV to loud Laughing

its my fault though, I always hand her the remote control so that she can hear whats going on..hope the neighbours are out Wink

.. We will have dinner and watch Her Majesty give her speech in the afternoon, and probably be bored witless with all the repeats that will no doubt be on the TV.. Might not be watching the soaps though, theres always some tragedy or other going in those over Christmas, and we can do without that..

Hope I havent , made you all miserable by my remarks, and that you have a wonderful Christmas no matter what you do..
