Thursday 6th - BBC 1 10.35 12.05 Proms: From the Royal Albert Hall, Aled introduces highlights of youth orchestras that have performed at the Proms. Gustavo Dudamel conducts the National Youth Orchestra of Venezuela who perform music of a Latin American flavour. Mark Elder conducts the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain who perform Prokofiev's First Piano Concerto with soloist Alexander Kobrin. Sir Colin Davis conducts the European Union Youth Orchestra who play Sibelius's 5th Symphony. - postponed due to the death of Pavarotti and presentation of a programme on him

* The Big Sing Royal Albert Hall 6.00 10.00 Once again this year Songs of Praise Big Sing returns to London's Royal Albert Hall. Aled will be introducing some of the top names in music and a choir of over one thousand voices will help to make this year's Big Sing the most spectacular yet!
* The Choir Radio 3: 6.30 8.00 As founder Ward Swingle celebrates his 80th birthday, Aled talks to the Swingle Singers about Bach, Berio and Beatboxing and more than four decades at the top of their profession.

* Songs of Praise BBC1: 5.30 - 6.05 Aled visits the spiritual home of Rugby and meets some of its stars including Gareth Edwards, Jason Leonard and Scottish international Euan Murray, who explains how rediscovering his faith has helped him both on and off the field. Lesley Garrett, Heather Small and Hayley Westenra join Aled at Rugby School, the birthplace of the game, to perform some inspirational classics. Hymns include Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah, Abide With Me and Jerusalem. Aled sings Gaelic Blessing
* The Choir Radio 3: 6.30 8.00 Aled introduces music for choir, solo piano, piano duet and orchestra, all from the 32 voices of French chamber choir Accentus. Plus the choir's founder and conductor Laurence Equilbey talks about how she has steered Accentus well beyond the limits of the standard repertoire for unaccompanied chamber choir. With music by Debussy, Mahler, Poulenc, Ravel and Schoenberg, and new works written for Accentus by Philippe Manoury and Bruno Mantovani.

* Good Morning Sunday BBC radio 2: 7.00. 9.00 An appearance on cult music television show The Tube in the Eighties first brought singer Michelle Shocked to the attention of the UK public, and she also enjoyed huge success with her hit song Anchorage.
As well as being a political activist, Michelle has a deep Christian faith and she chats to Aled this morning about her new gospel CD.
Aled chats also to Canon Ann Easter who has just been appointed chaplain to the Queen. Amongst the things they'll be discussing are Ken Livingstone's calls for a statue of Ghandi to be erected in London and just what kind of music would you expect to find on the Pope's mp3 player.
* The Choir Radio 3: 6.30 8.00 Aled is joined by Deborah Roberts and Laurie Stras, the music directors of Musica Secreta, an early music group with a special interest in performing music for female vocal ensemble, in this evening's edition of The Choir.
They chat to Aled about a host of women musicians from the Renaissance and early baroque, ranging from courtesans and courtiers such as Barbara Strozzi to the nun Chiara Maria Cozzolani who spent her whole life in a convent.
The music in tonight's programme also includes an excerpt from the Vasari Singers' new recording of Francis Pott's cantata The Cloud Of Unknowing, as well as some rarely heard choral music by Berlioz.

* The Choir Radio 3: 6.30 8.00 00 In an all-Italian programme, Aled Jones takes a choral perspective on Rossini, Verdi and Puccini, and discovers the singing village of Premana, a tiny alpine community with a vibrant tradition of folk-song and feasting.
We learnt tonight at Friday Night is Music Night that Aled will not, after all be making an Autumn tour , but will be making a number of radio and TV appearances in the autumn
